Styling tip for '12 summer

Be it a fruit or a veggie, the spring collection of  by Dolce &Gabbana will be our muse for the summer. If you are brave enough to wear your juicy coloured bra as a top, adorn it with plastic, mignon fruits or vegetables, which you can find in bazaars or in everything-for-one-dollar stores. (In Turkish we call it 1 milyoncu:) 

Or, you can go and buy yourself a plain bikini top and adorn it with these fake, mouth-watery greengrocery. (Silicone adhesives will do the trick)

It's spotty, neon and at an affordable price aaand it's by my beloved Japanese fashion label, Comme des Garçons! It's a-must for our wishlists, especially for the ones wanting to add a bright touch to their dusky-coloured clothes for the upcoming winter. What's quirky about the pouch is that it is not polka-dot printed but embossed!

By the way, the title of the post means "Hello Beautiful!" in Japanese.

Inversely Proportional Combo.

I've always had this intention of combining extra large, extra long "daddy's shirts" in my closet with my all kinds of jackets. But whenever i try them on, i watch myself on the mirror and it somewhat looks absurd. The extra long and large shirt with a jacket fitting like a glove looked like a "mess" on me...until i bumped into that Signora now. Maybe the short over long thing isn't for me but it looks damn so stylish on this woman shot by Scott Schumann. And maybe it's because this combo looks better on skinny i.e. hipless women.  And you need to be taller (than me) to rock them on. 

The Magic Lamp of Tim Walker

The man of my dreams aka Tim Walker did it again. I couldn't find who undertook the styling on the site but s/he deserves a big applause too. The whole shoot is like a dream! Once again, i repeat from inside, if i am to bump into Alaaddin's magic lamp, my wish would  definitely be "to be locked up in one of those Tim Walker images for my whole life". 

Needless to say, enjoy the ride guys!

'Back'lace!

Since i saw that woman wearing a necklace on her back in King's Speech movie, i've been looking for the perfect back-decollete dress just to apply that idea! But it's also super elegant on a sweater with the back-decollete. Not to mention how pretty is the necklace!

These are a couplet from a song by one of my favourite bands; The Feeling. When i was looking through the S/S 2012 looks by YSL, and came across this super cool, pink platform suede loafers with an eye-catching gold plate detail in front of them, i fell in love with the pink color once again. It really is a color- especially that tone of pink- that i can't take my eyes off, and i guess, probably, that's the situation for all 'les femmes'! We are used to seeing platform loafers everywhere for last seasons, but the ones in sugar pink make the loafers totally a woman's thing!
